I can't remember my count, but I would guesstimate around 300-400.

Well, from the top of my head, I would expect a raw estimate to be somewhere in the realms of the number 2. I think. ;)

One month ago I had about 4000. Now I have about 50.

I moved from Illinois to Massachusetts and realised I hadn't looked at any of them in years. So out to the curb they went!

I've stopped collecting for some years now but I'd estimate I have about 1000+ comics. My dad recently bought the first issue of The Avengers from 1963, it was pretty amazing to see it up close.

I got into them back in the early 90s and actually just hauled them from my parent's house recently. I think I have about 125.
Worst part was looking up the current values for issues I paid $45-65/each and finding out they're worth the cover price.

I gotta say I love comics.

I haven't read or even looked at any of mine in at least 10 years. My "collection" if you can even call it that, is large at all.

I probably have around 30-50 comics. As a kid I didn't have money to buy all the comics I wanted. :)

I honestly don't even remember which comics I have. I know I have some "Pitt" comics.. I loved the Pitt character. I think I have some Venom, another character I liked. Other than that, I'm not really sure about what I have... going to go through them this weekend.

A good friend has the entire Transmetropolitan series. I browsed through some of his and I thought it was a great story, great art... Eventually I'd like to pick up the entire set of Transmetropolitan. I think I heard they're making a movie based on it too. Anyone have Transmetropolitan?

And probably for a new note: What's your favorite comic series or character and why?

I haven't counted mine in a while but I recall it was close to 350-400. I have a zillion basketball cards too. More boxes to move...lovely.

I would estimate 300k with 10% in book-bound copies, 90% more magazine-like.

As a kid, I had a ton. My favorites were X-men and Batman. Not sure how many I ended up with. Being the genius I am, at about 16, I gave them all to a neighborhood kid. Oh, to be young and stupid again.

I've just recently gotten back into the mix. I've mostly been collectiong Graphic Novels, but I recently ordered a bunch of the Buffy/Angel comics. Also signed up for a mail-order subscription to new issues at tfaw.com.

So, right now I have about 25 graphic novels, 30 comics and more on the way. As I've gotten back into them, I can't figure out why I ever stopped reading them.

I worked at a comic shop in my teens so at once point I had 3 or 4 thousand, including a near mint copy of Iron Man #1 and early issues of Superman and Legion of Super Heroes. I sold them all probably 10 years ago and now only buy graphic novels, of which I have around 50.
