Brought to you by J. Michael Straczynski and Joe Quesada. Brace yourself, Spidey fans, after this, nothing will be the same for Peter Parker!
The stakes have never been higher. At his darkest hours -- and he's had plenty -- Peter has always had one shoulder to lean on, one person who'd remind him who he is, who he was, and who he can be. Now he's about to lose that person. What will he do...what would you do, if you only had "One More Day?”
After reading Sensational Spider-Man #41, we now know that Mephisto wants nothing more than Peter Parker and Mary Jane's marriage in order to save Aunt May from death.
In my opinion, this is much worse than the Crisis' from DC in the sense that Marvel is literally destroying almost 20 years of continuity by doing this story and basically acting as though it never happened.
On the other hand, I think this opens the door to tons upon tons of different things that obviously could only be done with them separated. Not to mention Spider-Man's entire world is a mess right now because of the Civil War and I personally don't know if I could stand reading much more in this setting and atmosphere.
Sure it's a cheap way out but I really want to see what's on the other side of One More Day. I've got a full review of Sensational Spider-Man #41 on my blog for those of you that are interested.
Thoughts on this OMD stuff?

I have mixed feelings on this. It seems like they painted themselves in a corner so they have to open the door to new story possibilities. However, I'm tired of the "it never happened" solution that keeps cropping up everywhere.
What they have in store better be good. :)
Curious - where do you get your comics from? Do you purchase them online or do you grab them locally?

I get some of the more expensive ones online as I get them for much cheaper. Otherwise, I get all of them locally. There's a number of stores in my area that sell comics so I'm pretty fortunate.
Thanks for the reply Tyme!
