Im sure you have all seen it.
This movie is brilliant and one of my all time favorites.
what do all of you think of it?the whole split personality thing?the fact that so much violence is used? The fact that the narrator only realises he is two in one only at the end?state your thoughts

Damn right the book is better. Chuck Palahniuk is a fantastic artist. Not the best technical writer on the planet but I have never read a man who can so accurately solicit desired emotions in his readers. There's a group of short stories that he wrote that he compiled into a frame-novel called Haunted.
One of the short stories is called Guts:
If you've never read him I'd suggest his novel called Diary, it will quite simply stun you. I read that book while I was stationed in Iraq. After I finished it I had to put it down and sit quietly on my bed for about an hour. My roommates were actually concerned for me for a bit. "Hey, are you OK Adam?" "No, no I'm not. But I will be in a minute..."
Fight Club is a great flick, I've seen it a million times, and can quote it extensively. The best thing about that movie was the fact that it turned me onto one of my favorite authors.

The movie is great. I own it on DVD and I can't say that about many movies. I didn't read Fight Club until after the movie came out, but I realized quickly that a) the book is better than the movie on so many levels and b) that Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite author.
Speaking of him, he has a new book coming out in May called Snuff. I'm super excited about that.
