Will you become the first THAT Blogging Idol??
T.H.A.T Anime Blog is currently looking for the next victim writer that will be able to write prolifically in the anime blog to share his or her views to the wired world. There will only be only one, the chosen one, to be selected into our team. The steps are simple. First, email us at thatblog@gmail.com and send us an entry that you will blog in T.H.A.T Anime Blog.
At the end of March, we will gather all the entries and post it up on the blog. Provide screenshots if you want or anything you think will help your entry. Do whatever necessary it is to gather eyeballs. After posting it, we will factor in how many comments each entry will get. If your entry gets the most comments and the judges (who will be much worse than Simon Cowell) votes for you too, you will be the inaugural winner of T.H.A.T Blogging Idol.

Hmmm... I have several blogs to upkeep of my own as well.. but would like to join... however not if you have to submit an entry in order to be qualified?

Ah shoot the website's down. I think the idea of an idol contest is absolutely hilarious. A little bit of anime, trivia, idol contests are pretty much an integral part of anime tradition in the same way that every single anime in Japan features an episode with a hot spring.
Hey just out of curiosity. What other anime's besides Love Hina had an idol contest? I've been out of the loop for so long that I've yet to see another one.

I remember Kage Kara Mamoru had a idol selection scene where Yuna sang her song.

Sorry for the downtime of the blog, some dreamhost problems have caused it going haywire but I have switched to a dedicated server.
@Anime_miz: You just need to put up an entry in order to qualify for it. The email is provided in the entry since the blog is up ^^. The mail by the way is thatblog@gmail.spammeralert.com (delete the spammeralert part).
@Michael: Yep, I am surprised that no one thinks of such a thing before because I think it's really insanely fun to have such a blogging contest!
