OK I need some anime suggestions. I am really into Bleach and Naruto, and I was looking for something similar to those. Any suggestions?

Wait, you're into really LONG anime's or fantasy type anime?
A really good one would be Full Metal Alchemist. That hits you hard and the action never stops. It doesn't have draggy fighting sequences too like Bleach or Naruto.
I could recommend Fate Stay Night, but I didn't like that myself.
Gensomaden Saiyuuki is worth the watch too if you have the time. It's pretty long as well.

How old are you? Bleach and Naruto are probably the most mature of their sub-genre. You may be interested in Beat the vandal buster.

Sorry what'd I miss? Fullmetal is pretty much the greatest anime ever. Have you tried out Wolf's Rain? I hear that it's a pretty sweet show. It's from the same people who made Cowboy Bebop so you might give it a try.
I was also a huge fan of Trigun. Shade, what anime's have you already watched?

Also check out full metal panic. Not related to alchemist, but full of action and humor as well!
Beat is younger oriented. Entertaining, but closer to say pokeman than cowboy bebop. Think maybe a slightly younger naruto set in a fantasy world

Perhaps you might like Claymore. I've been watching it and following the manga, and so far I'm loving it. D Gray-man is also quite popular, but I haven't watched it yet.

thanks guys, I was just looking at cowboy bebop, and Full Metal Alchemist both look promising. I am going to check out panic and Claymore.
@ Griffith, what's Claymore like?

Putting this one back out there because I am looking for some new Anime to get onboard with. Preferably some that are still in the fansub stage so I get in on early without having to watch 36 episodes to catch up. So what's hot? Also I've seen all the anime suggested in here.

@shadeofgray - Claymore is a lot like Berserk, if you've watched it before. It carefully treads the line between being a Shonen (Action) and a Seinen (Adult) Anime. It's set in a medieval age, and has a lot of sword fights, and fights against demons.
The biggest difference between it an Berserk is that most of the cast is female, but there's a good reason for that which you'll learn as the story progresses.
I started watching D.Gray-Man lately, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It reminds me of Bleach because of the "Souls" theme it has, but the story is closer to Fullmetal Alchemist's. And all of us who have watched FMA, should realize that that is a good thing.

@Shadeofgray, I think anime recommendations depend on how involved you want to get with the medium. Do want to be really pulled in? Do you want to think about it? Should it be something that you need to connect to? Or do you just want to be entertained? Nothing wrong with that. I like a good popcorn anime every now and again.
I think all anime connects with us to some extent, but there are anime which have heavy concepts behind them that go the extra mile in terms of connecting with you.
Wolf's Rain was an excellent anime (except for that utter waste of five, count 'em five, re-cap episodes). Scryed was an OK anime with lots of over the top action. It was actually pretty entertaining. Did I mention it had lots of action?
There seems to be a handful of anime that established fans recommend for people who want to get deeper into the medium. Those would be the aforementioned Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and the not mentioned Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The former two I would say, watch now. The last one I would wait on until you're used to being disappointed with anime. Then there are the classic anime that have made many folks the fanboys they are today. I won't touch the classics since I'm not so familiar with them.
Recommending anime can be tricky. Good luck!

So only new suggestion we have so far is from Griffith with D.Man-Gray? Come one anime nuts, I need more than that to work on.

If you're into Bleach and Naruto you should definitely consider One Piece. Those are the 3 big shonen series right now.
And of the 3, I love One Piece and really could do without the other 2. One Piece is an absolutely hilarious series with more "heart" than the other 2. When I watched Naruto, I couldn't careless who died or what new power they gained. One Piece does have fighting but it focuses on character ambition, humor, and it's just a great adventure.
Other series I recommend are Berserk, Hajime no Ippo, Fruits Basket, Last Exile, and Rurouni Kenshin. I could go on and on about as I think they are series you have to watch before you get pulled into all the recent shonen-crap out there. Someone mentioned Fullmetal Alchemist; yes you might consider that "deep" when comparing it to shallow shonen series like Naruto, but the drama is laughable when compared to something like Berserk. (Just my opinion)

Um maybe D.Gray-Man would be the best ive watch it from beginning to end even when itz raw but i understand japanese so yeah
D.Gray-Man is a great anime itz about action/comedy/kinda dramatic at times.
It really funny in alot of episodes so i guess ill suggest that one to all.

I agree that Berserk is awesome, but since the series leaves you hanging at the end, make sure you have the later volumes of the manga on hand. I think the anime leaves off around volume 14 of the manga series.
Fullmetal Alchemist, Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun were all great, too. I loved Noir, but it gets repetitive. Soul Hunters (Hoshin Engi) is another series that I recommend.

Recommending good anime is a bit hard to do sometimes because everyone's tastes are different. My tastes vary I like comedy, drama, slice-of-life, spiritual, scifi, etc.

Also if you seriously want get into anime then you should start to move away from series like Bleach, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece because anime has a lot better series to offer than these. However, that's just my opinion and it all depends on your tastes as I've said above. Just watch what you like and don't worry about others.

I am looking forward to the last disc of Ergo Proxy coming out soon. Also watched Planetes recently though that isn't all that new. Definitely worth watching.

FLCL is always a recommendation, though it doesn't really fall within the shonen confines you mentioned. Last Exile is solid with lots of action and depth if you choose to look that far. The two Ghost in the Shell TV series (Sand Alone Complex and 2ndGIG) also offer lots substance and sophistication, as well as amazing production values. I can only recommend more seinen stuff as that's what I know and love. The aforementioned shows are worth a look even if you prefer Naruto-like series. They might broaden your horizons a bit.

It seems that you're just like the younger version of me ( anime version younger than me, not real life). When i started watchin anime i mainly watchd naruto and bleach but when i caught up to the episodes it got kinda boring cuz i cudnt watch each episode aftter the other.
I thought Naruto was the best anime out till i watchd these 2:
Full Metal Alchemist- I watched this after Naruto and Bleach and straight away i knew it was a gr8 anime, the main characters determination and the way the story unfolded. The music in the final episode is unforgettable. Seriously reccomended.
KIBA- after Naruto and Bleach i also watchd this and was blown away, its a great action anime like naruto that has the same determined edge the Naruto anime has. Seriously reccomended.
I also watched other animes, some of the best being Devil May Cry, Busou Renkin and Shingetsutan Tsukihime.
So overall i would reccomend Full Metal Alchemist, KIBA and Devil May Cry- which you can watch on Veoh.

my favorite anime ever.
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Gun Buster 2
Ghost In The Shell 2
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Ergo-Proxy
Gantz
Spirited Away
Howls Moving Castle
GITS 1st Gig and 2nd Gig (GITS=Ghost In The Shell)
I'm an american male, so I don't always go for the romantic anime but the way Japanese people go about developing romantic relationships is very intriguing. There is very little said but their interactions tell it all. Mostly though I like the guns/guts/glory type anime with some sex thrown in the mix. The list above is probably only about a tenth of the total series or movies I've seen. These just stand out. Broadband and BitTorrent FTW! or Loss depending on how you count the untold hours of my life wasted watching this crap. LOL.

Maybe try My Hime. It's loaded with fanservice, but aside from that I thought it was pretty good. It's got action, drama, and comedy in it. And it has closure at the end. I'm big on closure. I like Bleach, but sometimes it seems like it's going nowhere. I loved FMA because it came to a satisfactory ending.
