Mark Wahlberg came up in a different note and it got me thinking about a note topic, so here we go.
Mark started off with a music career doing small stint with New Kids On The Block, then with his own "Funky Bunch" as a rap artist.
He also did some work as a male fashion model.
I would say for most people today, he's well known for his acting career in movies.
Here's the survey.
Which "Mark" to do prefer and why? Music artist, male model or movie star?

My answer, I like him as a movie star.
Three films that stick out for me are Fear (1996), Rock Star (2001) and The Italian Job (2003).

Don't tell any of my friends this but I really like him as an actor. My favorite he was in has to be Three Kings (1999).
My other secret: I think Leonardo DiCaprio is an awesome actor, and I'll go see anything hes in. Except Titanic.

The model. Definitely the model. I honestly don't remember any of those movies...but I remember him in those black boxer briefs.
I'd be ashamed but I'm old now. I can lose my memory...

I like him as a movie star, but I'll always remember him as Marky Mark the rapper.

@Mike: In the end credits and bloopers (on the DVD) for the movie Rock Star there is a bit with him all rocked out and doing Funky Bunch songs... it's really funny.

@ Sean - hey it's not my fault his claim to fame was his body lol.
I'm going to check out the movies. I remember Renaissance Man and Planet of the Apes. I honestly didn't realize he did so many. A movie "really" has to appeal for me to go here...because people don't know how to act in movie theater. :(

Actor - the Departed sticks out for me, but everything he's been in has been brilliant. Except maybe the Italian Job.

He was also in Boogie Nights... now Tyme should remember that movie since it showed a lot of Marky Marks body :)

Hahaha...yeah...this is bad...lol.
I am awful at remembering actors/actresses/movies. Terrible. In an ST Scrivs and I played a game where we had to name actors/actresses and I lost terribly. Haha, thinking about how bad I did makes me cringe.

@Tyme- I also remember him as a model, but you have to see him in Invincible to truly appreciate how good he looks on the big screen. It is a feel good football movie, but you do not have to like football to enjoy him in the movie. Another rather violent movie where he kicks ass is The Four Brothers.

@Liza: The Four Brothers was an excellent movie.
I forgot about that one... he did kick some major ass. I need to track that down on DVD.

I'm with Tyme. As a model. I would rather not hear him talk.

@liza - thank you! This week I will be snuggling up watching movies I should have seen lol. I honestly don't recall many of these, which proves how far removed I am from going to the movies. I used to enjoy it so much but the past couple of years it's just not fun because people don't know how to act.
@estarla - LMAO

I really like him as a hottie !!! lol !!
In fact he wasn't that good looking on The Departure but I reallllyyyy loved his character... so I'm lost....the fact that I cannot chose is that making him a great actor?
When you jump from filming remakes to producing hit show like Entourage maybe you really deserve an oscar nomination, don't you think?
