I wonder if anyone outside the UK has heard of The Mighty Boosh?
Series 3 started on TV a few days ago and contained this musical number towards the end...
Here's one of the older musical numbers as a bonus!

I'm from the UK and I know the name I just have no idea what the show is about, having never watched it. Brief explanation?

That's a really hard question. Wikipedia entry explains better than I can. They say it's a comedy about two friends who go on magical adventures. It is kind of. I think the fun comes out of them irritating each other and not approving of each other's lifestyle and tastes (which are completely different).

Haha, looks pretty funny. I've never heard of it though.

Simon and me must be the only UK people that find The Mighty Boosh funny - everyone we know seems to find it hilarious. I've tried to find it humorous but for someone reason it's just not funny to me. Then again I have to be the only person in the world who doesn't like Monty Python - Simon does though so it's only me that is the full lack of humor freak :)

What what? Monty Python, not funny? Does. Not. Compute.
I find The Mighty Boosh funny, and those were great clips. I haven't seen any of the new series yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Ha, I watch it on BBC America sometimes. I love the guy with the glam rock hair.
Every time I pour a glass of Baileys or use it in a cocktail at work it gets an Old Gregg impression. :) So creamy beige! That's probably the most famous ep I think.

What is it? A crazy drugs-vision, often musical, magical-roundabout adventure. It's cult comedy, like the IT Crowd which Noel Fielding (Mr Glam Rock) also plays in, just with slightly more off-centre humour.
Will you "get" it all immediately? Hell no. You have to work at some of it quite hard and I suggest you go right back to the beginning to get into it otherwise you'll understand the latest series even less.
It's awesome.

I used to watch it occasionally when it ran here (Australia) on SBS.
It was... all right, I guess, but I got the impression it was trying a little too hard to be 'random'.

See this is just what I don't like in comedy - call me odd but I like it to be funny without me having to work out my brain just to 'get it' :)
I know about the Monty Python thing - what can I say I'm on my own there.
