If you haven't seen No Country for Old Men yet, go now, friendo.
Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones — all are amazing and I predict this film will be racking up quite a few Oscars. The imagery, the cinematography... the Coen brothers have outdone themselves once again.
Between Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou? and now this, I'm convinced anything these guys attach their name to is an instant classic. Seriously. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so just GO SEE IT!
I'd love to hear what any of you guys who've seen it thought, too.

Saw it last week, blew me away. What an incredibly dark movie with excellent mood setting scenes.
Yes, indeed, it's a classic in the making. GO SEE IT!

I'm really looking forward to this - have to wait until the middle of January for the UK release though.

I thought it was incredible for all the reasons Jensized gave. I don't want to say a lot here -- I really don't want to give away any details -- but it's terrific. Definitely a great movie.
I want to go see it again, actually, so I can absorb all the stuff I know I missed the first time around. It's that multilayered and well-thought-out.

It was amazing, but I really have to say to not go in there being unfamiliar with the Coen brothers' work, or just know that it's an incredibly dark movie and this is its strong suit. It will blow away any expectations. All the actors were incredibly impressive and the characterization is really the heart of the movie. The dialogue was simply awesome.

publicenergy - We get pretty buggered with film releases, eh. I'm desperate for this and Margot at the Wedding, both of which aren't out until next year in the UK. Almost makes you want to find a torrent...
