I wrote about this on my blog. Did anyone else watch Paula Abdul's obviously drunken/stoned behavior tonight on American Idol? Why do they keep her? She never makes sense and I'm pretty sure she hates dolphins.

One of the main reasons I watch American Idol is the slight hope that she'll spontaneously combust on air one day.

Well, guess what? You're talking about it. Whether she's drunk or stoned or w/e, the objective by her, the producers, or her publicist have been fulfilled.
I'm calling shenanigans right here and saying its a publicity thing.

I dont watch syndicated TV but she does appear to be messed up on something. get rid of her and find someone more competent.

There was an actor a while back, named Dudley Moore. He always looked as if he was drunk, and even played the role of a drunk in some films.
He had multiple sclerosis, and it wasn't revealed until it got to the point that he couldn't function well.
People with neurological disorders, etc., often look as if they are drunk, when walking, speaking, etc. And, they are on medication, which compiles the problem.
Give the person some slack. Who are we to judge.
