If she was more responsible, maybe it wouldn't of been.

How screwed up you must be when a judge looks at you and Kevin Federline and decides he's the more responsible one?

No surprise at all here, she's been a trainwreck SINCE she married KFed and sadly he's kept under the radar and been more "responsible". To think, I used to think she was good looking, now she makes me shudder in horror.

Could this be the ultimate price of vanity?

No, but it so sad that the judge think that KFed is more responsible coz I don't think that he's that responsible to his kids to Shar Jackson. KFed is only acting that he's the responsible parent than Brit since that scumbag KFed only want more money from her.

@Gomeler: She was a trainwreck before she married KFed. She started going down the tubes:
1) When she turned 21 and no one could control her anymore and
2) When she broke up with Justin Timberlake.
Remember, KFed isn't her first husband. She got drunk and got married in Vegas.
She never had the chance to have a normal childhood and she's doing what many (unfortunately most) child celebrities do - try to recapture the youth they lost out on. She's pushed everyone away that doesn't agree with her acting like a child and legally, there is nothing anyone can do. There was also the video where KFed was telling her she was out of control and she ranted about how great and sexy she was and she felt like she could do whatever she wanted.
She lost her kids and went tanning. Can't blame that on KFed. The behavior was there way before she met him, otherwise she never would have let him into her life.

Haha, wow, she obviously doesn't get it. She applied for a license, didn't get one, and went driving again today. :(

Not surprised really. It's just one of many wakeup calls for her, and quite likely one she won't heed. Anyway, there's a difference between not having physical custody of a child following a split-up, a decision that can be changed when the parent shows that they can step up to the plate and be a decent parent, and having your parental rights terminated, which is a truly huge deal, one which severs your parental relationship with your child. You can regain custody in the family law system by showing that you've done some things about your sorry self (like drug and alcohol treatment and some decent counseling, for starters) but once you screw up so massively that you end up in the child welfare system, your chance of being able to parent your child is on a very fast downward slope. It is almost always better for children to be with a parent, than in the foster care system, even when the parent is not so great at their job, and I wish her well. I agree with Tyme that being a child celebrity is just so terribly damaging -- she's very good evidence of that. It's a wonder anybody at all survives that time.
As for her husband, I haven't heard anywhere that he's not doing a good job parenting those children. Sure, he's a really really bad musician, has very poor personal grooming, and looks terrible in a fedora. He's not the only guy to try that out (or to have children with more than one woman), but that doesn't mean he should have his children taken away from him.
