Who here is an Eddie Izzard fan?? :)
I got in a mood tonight and listened to a bunch of stuff of his tonight...my favorite bit is the "Cunning use of flags" bit...
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags...just sail around the world, stick a flag in..."I claim India for Britain!" And they're going "You can't claim us, we live here! 500 million of us..." "Do you have a flag?" "No we don't have a bloody flag, it's our country you bastard." "No flag, no country, can't have one. That's the rules that I just made up. And I'm backing it up with this gun that was lent from the National Rifle Association." *much laughter* Well remembered.

It's nigh on impossible to pick just one bit, but conquering with flags and cake or death do rate at the top of the list (you get bonus points in our house for getting the line 'cake or death?' into the conversation.
I also really like the cats drilling - sorry I can't quote the entire sketch right now, but it's been a long day at work.

I agree with Cas one doesn't cut it. I always like to listen to him when feeling meh as it never fails to cheer me up. I like the space exploration UK style with a man up a ladder.
