Ok, this is a little special. I found this bootleg Boards of Canada vinyl.

Two tracks on the A side, two on the B side.

A1 Trapped (Hell Interface Mix)
A2 Tapped (Short Slow Version)
B1 Midas Touch (Remix)
B2 Korona

Heard them before? Very unlikely.

Three of these tracks were released under MASK Records.

MASK is an off-shoot of Skam Records - Boards' label for a while, though the only well-known album they released under Skam (jointly with Warp) was Music has The Right to Children.

But Skam is renowned for releases under its label using anagrams of its name. Aquarias, a rare single by BoC, for example, was relesaed under KMAS. But records released under MASK are considered extremely rare and valuable.

The tracks on this that were released under MASK are A1 (Hell Interface is a pseudonym BoC used, by the way), B1 and B2. And those tracks come from releases that were only released in issues of 200, 500 and 100, respectively.

This is a little bit of Boards of Canada history.

The tracks themselves aren't that great - the Midas Touch remix is hard not to laugh at - but something this rare should be coveted at all costs.

If you can find it anywhere (like the Internet - unreleased, so without pesky legal issues, presumably) I recommend picking it up. If only to hear the funniest Midas Touch remix you're ever likely to hear.
