Today is 80s day in the Scrivs's iTunes player so I figured I would provide you with the day's top 10 80s songs accompanied with YouTube clips. If you know me you know that I'm not big on going outside of hip-hop, R&B and classical, but that doesn't mean I don't like other genres and eras. Keep in mind these are my top 10 80s songs for the day, not a definitive list that I am trying to start a debate over so just sit back and enjoy.
- Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
- A-Ha - Take On Me
- Blondie - Call Me
- The J. Giles Band - Centerfold
- Michael Jackson - Beat It
- Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
- Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
- Queen - Another One Bites The Dust
- Hall & Oates - Maneater
- Prince - When Doves Cry (Universal removed the real video)

You mentioned not going outside the hip-hop genre, but hey, Tom Sawyer is a classic 80's hit.

The 80s produced some wonderful music, most of which has already been mentioned. But the 80s were also the decade of the one hit wonder. (I'm too lazy to find Youtube videos; my mouse batteries just ran out, so I'm trackpaddin'.)
The Vapors - Turning Japanese
Sugar Hill Gang - Rapper's Delight
Indeep - Last Night a DJ Saved my Life
EMF - Unbelievable
Not to mention people like the Weather Girls, Right Said Fred, Haddaway, Paul Lekakis, the list goes on.

Not to be a wanker, Rich, but Rapper's Delight is from 1979, close but not yet the eighties.
