I always recommend People Under the Stairs. They're a hip hop group from Cali. Really laid back and chill. I mostly listen to underground hip hop, so if you're interested, I have tons of recommendations.
Jamiroquai is also a tight group to listen to. "Return of the Space Cowboy" is their best album in my opinion.
An old N.E.R.D. album "In Search of..." is pretty good too.
On the acoustic-y end, I've been loving Isaac Hayden. Check MySpace for some new stuff of his that iTunes doesn't have. I've also been way into Martin Sexton lately.
I really like the new Nelly Furtado cd too. But I listen mostly to spanish music so... I don't want you to freak out on what I really love listening to. LOL
I listen to a lot of stuff from the Om record label (http://om-records.com) such as the new Strange Fruit Project release (good ol' hip-hop biznazz), or any of their house music mix cds. I also got to back up the suggestion for Jamiroquai and People Under the Stairs.

I do have the new Nelly Furtado CD somewhere. I think it was last in my car, but I looked and I really want it so I can upload into my iTunes. But there are some good songs on it, like "Say It Right".

Tonedeff is nice. Besides my usual mix of underground hip-hop, I've been playing the latest Nelly Furtado CD. I like.

I've started doing mini reviews on lesser known bands for just this purpose.
check out: My Music Section, specifically the last two entries where you can have a listen while you read the reviews.

I also listen to an unhealthy amount of Barenaked Ladies music. And it's not just cause of their name. "The Flag" is one of my favorite songs, ever.
