Very sad. I read the other day that he wasn't doing well and was being cared for at home. When I read "cared for at home" I knew it wouldn't be long. So sad but I'm glad he is no longer suffering. Remission with pancreatic cancer is rare.
Very sad news. He wasn't just a tenor, he was a real personality. An inspiration to so many people and had so much passion for what he did. As Lorri M put it, his voice will live on.

He is the only thing I liked about opera. His family and music lovers all over the world will forever remember and miss him.
