My friend posted the above clips to me several weeks ago.I have not finished viewing them and never will. I was more annoyed than impressed.

I have never liked Britney Spear and any artistes who behave like her. There are many other better role models for kids to emulate in life.

From my observation(limited though), the media tends to make bad things popular by making them 'socially acceptable' for wide-eyed teenagers. I have ever heard many kids in my school describe the 'impersonator' as 'great', 'cool' and 'daring' . The way they imitate him disgusts me.

I am sure many parents and teachers will suffer a permanent headache if more kids start acting like the boy.

I couldn't even finish the first video. It's sad really how people can get so bent out of shape over some celebrity.
I don't care if Britney's fat, thin, bald, whatever. I DO wish she'd just go away. I won't hold my breath though. The tabloids/celeb-rags (AKA those people that purchase that drivel) are keeping her "star" alive.

And here you have the problem with this Chris Crocker kid. He says:

Yes, I was "REALLY" crying, you fucking morons. The one time I'm NOT acting- everyone says I am..

I filmed this window lighting which washes out my face- if the video is watched in full screen I am clearly crying, assholes.

Oops...Perez was really crying too. Hope Chris enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame. No way he can take on Perez.

Britney's weight/figure is not her problem. She's not hardly fat but what she wore did not accentuate her figure. She could see herself on the screen while she was performing and she broke down after he performance. Maybe that night was the "hit bottom" moment for her that many people need to turn their lives around. Let us pray.

Please tell me you're joking. She is absolutely not fat. She's a mother of two and looks healthy. She's 25, not 17 anymore, and we should all remember that. So while she may have plenty of problems, her weight is not one of them.

Switching gears: as my mother would say, this boy is crying crocodile tears. It's obviously working, though, as his video is now posted all over the most popular sites on the Internet, funneling much-desired traffic right his way.

@Ryan - I agree she needs to take some time away until she gets it together. She's in the middle of a custody battle and while she was partying her ex-husband was planning birthday parties for their sons. And her mother spend time with the kids. The weekend she clearly under-performed and the media got another picture of her not wearing underwear.

Unfortunately the pressure is going to intensify because her CD drops Nov. 13. I can't imagine what that must be like for my entire career to rest on one thing.

I know this thread is about the crazy video, but I do feel bad for Britney. I can't imagine how hard it is being under constant scrutiny by the entire world. If I have a bad day and make a few mistakes, I can move on because they're not published on the cover of every magazine (and blown completely out of porportion).

I'm not saying she's justified. She leads an extremely priveleged life and has been blessed with much success. But she's my age. I had my own issues growing up and I wasn't under a microscope with the whole world commenting on my actions and my body. That has to come with an emotional price.

I just wish she'd take a few years off, figure things out and come back with a good head on her shoulders. On the plus side, I've read reviews of her new material and its supposed to be excellent dance-pop.

He's a fake. He made a video of himself and a man he passed off as his brother, stating that they were in love. Involved in a relationship, and kissed at the end. People did not immediately dismiss the video as fake, the majority believed he could actually do it and were offended that it was posted online.

He has cussed out his grandmother in a couple of videos. Very demeaning and belittling to her. Again, people were "shocked" that, even if it was meant to be comedy, he didn't see that wasn't funny to portray her in that light.

He made a video of kids (young girls) talking about how a girl sitting in their classroom was getting fingered in class. You can imagine the reaction to that one.

The difference between a comedian/actor and him is that the comedian/actor plays a part, does their routine and turns off and there is some balance where people see the person is normal. It is clear that the actor playing the craziest of parts is actually playing a part.

This guy doesn't show that other side, quite the contrary. He does walk around fully made up. It has been witnessed by independent reporters that the looks people gave him made them feel uncomfortable (the hatred). The "normal" side is very rarely shown.

Time will tell but since he is more irritating to the You Tube community than embraced (people are subscribed just like people slow down to watch an accident) I don't see how (in its current form) it can last long.

@cooper - She's not fat at all. I am sure there are a lot of husbands out there who wished their wives looked like that after having two kids. If she laid off the alcohol she wouldn't look so bloated.

Her problem is making unwise decisions. She's out of control right now and she doesn't listen to anyone. MTV gave her an opportunity and after hearing what she did prior to the show, I sort of understand why they allowed that opening shot of her head (not that I agree with it).

@Tyme

I didn't say it was brilliant, I said that it was brilliantly twisted, and meant mainly that it's a humorous/twisted/bizarre way to get attention. This guy wants attention and to get it he (presumably) fakes being a Britney Psycho?! Hah. That's brilliantly twisted.

You have some really good points. But I'm not sure we can apply them to this guy yet, at least not with full certainty. If we assume he's faking the whole thing, then whether people will remember him as the crazy person on YouTube or something else, depends entirely on how he plays out the opportunities that present themselves now.

He's not destined to be remembered as the Britney Psycho, he could become the comedian (or gameshow host, or whatever) who got famous by pretending to be a Britney Psycho.

Just because he started off unconventionally, and psychotically, doesn't mean this is all he can or will ever do. Nicky Hilton is an example of this. Being known mainly for sloppy partying (being rich is irrelevant, I'm talking about how people perceived her), she used the attention to her advantage and is now considered a somewhat successful designer.

If this guy faked his persona in order to get attention, and provided he knows how to play his cards, he could very well be remembered in the end as someone completely different.

That's not to say that this isn't a risky move. Nor am I saying it's a something people should do to get attention. He probably will end up like you describe, failing to make something more of himself. Typecast as a nutter for eternity. Ech.

He is faking it but I will never think it's brilliant, because I have a standard set for myself and some wisdom under my belt. I spent some time looking at his videos and he is obsessed with Britney. Not only the collection but he tried to look like her (and in some of the video he's stunningly beautiful).

That doesn't change the fact he is making the stupid mistake many youths make: thinking the things that they do will be understood. Even worse, that it is okay to do it. The nail in the coffin: that it will be forgiven or forgotten.

The attention he receives now is not permanent and he's receiving it playing crazy. He has hundreds of videos about him from people saying he's crazy, to shut up, etc. Even death threats. One day the attention is going to die, he's going to need to do something else but his face and his voice will be etched in people's minds. Just like Monica Lewinsky will always be known as the woman that had an affair with the president (yes, I was nice on that visual) Chris will always been known as the crazy guy. And he won't make enough doing this to last him the rest of his life because he's not "that" good. There is always a celebrity on YouTube and MySpace but how long do these people actually maintain it?

Brilliant? Naw, it's stupid but he's a kid and kids screw up. Doesn't mean they won't pay for their mistakes.
