Haha, I love the Dirty Hungarian Phrase Book. Hilarious.
I think my favorite is the Sci-Fi Sketch:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Hehe, that is one creepy costume. Can I say OMG?
Apparently Sigur Ros have posted the entire movie to YouTube if anybody is interested in watching it.
@Vainzine thanks for the tip. I checked her out and dig her stuff. However, I think she sounds more like Fiona Apple than Joanna Newsom.
I'm not a fan of network TV shows and have never seen LOST before. What am I missing? Anything good?
I, too, am not a huge fan of network TV and I actually didn't care for the first five or so episodes at all. But after that, it started to take off. Season 2 was really awesome for me and I don't remember why right now. Season 3 had its moments but also had some filler content and wavered a bit in the plot department. It started to pick up some steam toward the middle to the end, so hopefully they will fix that in Season 4 (especially with the intended shorter 16 episode season).
Overall, the show is an interesting blend of survival, sci fi, drama, and mystery. I wouldn't say it's the best show, but I do enjoy it a lot. There are always a lot of unanswered questions to think about, so that's really cool.
One of the most important things for me in a show is character development. I've noticed that the non-comedy shows I like the most have characters that I feel ambivalent about. Lost does this for me, but not to the extent that some of my more favorite shows have (Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Battlestar Galactica).
They better satisfy seeing as we only have 8 this year :(
Unless the strike gets settled. *crosses fingers*
Haha, I just found this Lost Season 4 wikipedia article:
E! reports that ABC insiders have said that the completed fourth season episodes are "crazy good" and will "even satisfy the haters."
That sounds interesting. Also further down in the article, it talks about some of the people who will be guest starring or returning.
I predict it will be equally, if not MORE confusing and ridiculous than the previous season :)
Haha, it might be. I'm thinking that they're going to have to start resolving some things and answering some questions. Maybe not this season but fifth season for sure, because there are only three seasons left until the show is finished.
They're doing a recap episode BEFORE the premier. So it should be new territory!
Right, I think that will go over what they have already showed us. If I remember correctly, they did a huge flashforward thing at the end of last season. I want to know what happened in between that we haven't seen yet.
If anybody out there is still watching Lost, the premiere is tonight! I'm very pumped about it. What are your predictions for the first episode or the whole season?
Attention, there may be spoilers in this thread if you aren't caught up on Lost.
*** SPOILER ALERT ***
Personally, I have no idea what is going to happen. They might spend the first episode doing a lot of flashbacks to go back over what happened from the time they got off the island to where last season's finale left us.
Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley)
Kori Gardner (Mates of State)
Regina Spektor
Reading this list tells me very few of you have actually ever seen a bad, BAD movie.
Are you referring to a bad movies like Santa Claus Conquers the Martians?
The worst movie that I saw that I can think of right now was Balls of Fury. It was horrible.
I am a fan of the brothers and I'm pretty excited about seeing this movie. Glad to hear you liked it. :)
If you want the entire video, it's available on the Google and it's hilarious.
Haha, looks pretty funny. I've never heard of it though.
It's actually from a Humphrey Bogart film.
Cool, thanks for the link. I had no idea it wasn't originally from Blazing Saddles. Learn something new every day I guess. :)
I'm a J River Media Center user, so I don't even know if iTunes has this capability, but there is a built-in analyze audio function that will measure things like BPM and gain differences (which I use to automatically equalize songs on playback). I then create smart playlists that use this information. So, if I want something upbeat or intense, I can automatically have that to my analyzed audio.

Tough question. I'm limiting mine to five, so here are my 5 must-have songs at the moment:
I saw a poster for it when I went to see Once and thought it looked interesting. I've read some reviews on it and am looking forward to seeing it even though the critics don't seem to be too keen on it.
Welcome back!
but... that was only five comebacks. wtf?
@hthth: thanks for the review. It sounds awesome. I can't wait.
Does anyone know when/if it will be in theaters in the US? Or when it comes to video tape?
@hthth: you'll have to let us know what you think of it this weekend. I'm looking forward to your review. :D
Yearrr me heartys!
Dirty Tom Vane
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!
LooTube: if you are into vocal stuff, you should give Kurt Elling a shot.
estarla, if you've only listened to Takk... you should really check out ( ) and Ágætis Byrjun. They are both incredible.
Saw them live a while back. Unfortunately I was up in nosebleed, but it was an excellent show.
Is it just me, or does this look awesome?
@Josh: I was under the impression that the BSG storyline was coming to an end and that they didn't want to artificially draw it out just to make a buck. At least at the end of last season, I can't really see how it could go longer than one more season. But you are right, it's a great show and I'll miss it once it's gone.
Also on my list are Family Dog from when I was a kid, The Office (UK), Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Two Fat Ladies, Seinfeld, and I'm Alan Partridge.
Arrested Development was incredible.
The Perry Bible Fellowship is hilarious.
