omg, hilarious. "Place a bag gently over his head." I better search for a paper bag.
And sadly, I will spend this next week trying to find awesome Pokemon toys, and a Saturday wearing a Pikachu hat. The things I won't do for six year olds.

Dang it. I thought you were going to tell us the shocking secrets of internet superstars--like that they were all crab people or something.
I'm going to Ozzfest, though I don't understand why. We swore three years ago we were never going again--after the lead singer of Disturbed was dumb enough to spend the afternoon in 100+ degree heat wearing leather pants, getting heat stroke and unable to perform that night.
This year it's no better. Sure it's free, but seriously the only band I know is Ozzy. And I don't particularly have high hopes for the second stage.
I do want to do Van's Warped Tour, but it's the week I'm supposed to be setting up residence in Chico, so I don't know yet.
lol john mayer is way more stuntastic
woot :) working on it.
I take mine back and echo Gnorb. I totally want to play the holophoner. I can't believe I forgot all about that
(and the best part was at the end when Fry got his human hands back.. but that's just the cheezy romantic in me)
I'd play any Fall Out Boy song. Because i'm just a lonely emo girl at heart.
I wish I'd learned to play the guitar or the piano when I was little, but no one was offering to teach me (my parents weren't big on lessons, even if my dad does play both instruments).
I can't believe that Cruel Intentions hasn't been mentioned. There isn't a bad song on that soundtrack.
And I loved the one for Legally Blonde. Perfect summer album.
ooh, LorriM is so right. An entire album of Beach Boys (minus the slow songs) always hits the spot.
Josh: You know it's any powerballad from the late '90s. Like, I dunno, Vertical Horizion, 3 Doors Down, and The Verve Pipe (and their one very awesome album).
Just to bring us slighty back on topic: my mix is up :) Josh loves it, but who's to say everyone else will ;P
Josh wanted me to post so that he's not the only one :)
I'm working on mine (going to do one long one), but turns out i have to reimport the songs from my cd's, since I did them the first time in the iTunes format.
Anyway, I'll post again when I'm done, but I really am working on it!
I think the designer needs a raise. :)
@ryanarrowsmith: did you start to forget who you were listing? love the repeats on the list. :)
I'm pretty sure Everclear is from the bay area, also.
stop being so much faster than me!
fee free to delete the other note i started without seeing this one...
I'm such a sucker for emo-punk-pop that refers to words (as in, writing).
Sophmore Slump or Comeback of the Year (Fall Out Boy):
We're the therapists pumping through your speakers
Delivering just what you need
We're well read and poised
We're the best boys
We're the chemists who've found the formula
To make your heart swell and burst
No matter what they say, don't believe a word
...
We're traveled like gypsies
Only with worse luck and far less gold
We're the kids you used to love
But then we grew old
We're the lifers here till the bitter end
Condemned from the start
Ashamed of the way
The songs and the words own the beating of our hearts
From This Ain't a Scene, it's an Arms Race (Fall Out Boy):
I am an arms dealer
Fitting you with weapons in the form of words
And don't really care which side wins
As long as the room keeps singing
That's just the business I'm in
I'd have to echo Kurt Cobain, and top that with Smashing Pumpkins.
Billy Corgan is seen by many (okay, by the people I talk to) as the voice of our generation. I can't explain how thrilled I am that the SP are back together and putting out a new album.
I saw it without reading the book first (concious decision), but I really liked the movie. As did my boyfriend.
Although, it did help to remember that it was the first in a Trilogy, because the end doesn't feel like an ending, because the story just isn't done.
Seeing the movie makes me want to read the book even more, because I'm sure it'll be awesome. I just want to wait until the third one comes out. I'm not a fan of starting stuff before it's finished.
(I'm looking at you Harry Potter.... Far too long to get through those seven books!)
I tend to run into King's players (basketball, not hockey). I saw Peja Stojakovic at the strip club once, and I went to highschool with Matt Barnes. I can't tell you how upset I am that he was traded to the Golden State Warriors. I dislike him immensly, and it kills that he plays for my team. I used to have to scrimmage against him in HS when I played basketball--I was the only girl tall enough to go up against him.
My cousin-in-law has painted Eddie Murphy's house in Granite Bay, and my cousin's best friend dated Chris Webber (the girlfriend before Tyra Banks).
And I've met numerous rockstars at concerts, but I don't really think that counts, although Art Alexis (of Everclear), did once call out to me and my sister when we were on the balcony at the Filmore, asking us why we wern't down in the front row (and we knew he was talking to us, because the rest of the balcony was filled with middlege men).
I think my favorite is psuedo-Michael Jackson singing "Lisa it's your Birthday." But than again, I could be biased ;)
Ever After

Sense & Sensability (I love movies that are classic books). ***

I dunno... I generally claim everything.
But if you forced me... Chumbawumba. And yes, I could sing every song on that album.
